Who am I?

Why on earth am I doing this?

As a life-long South-Londoner and living in Croydon for over 15 years now, a few things stand out a mile to me. Both of them are about neglect.

Our community green spaces are badly neglected.
We have a big problem with helping homeless people.

This started out as me just being sick of looking at unsightly, scruffy green spaces in our neighbourhoods, almost everywhere I looked.

However, after sponsoring this project through my businesses, I have since realised that another problem I’ve seen on many times is the volume of rough sleepers we have in Croydon, South London, and, through conversations with charities like NightWatch, the scale of the problems they face.

But I’ve opened the biggest can of worms possible… And I need your help!

Spending some critical time outdoors. De-stress and ground myself.

There are loads of green spaces in Croydon, but they are poorly maintained by shoddy contractors who “Shred and go”…

Once I started tidying up, I instantly discovered other problems it was creating, so I kept going. The more I did, the more I found I needed to do.

I’d opened the biggest can of worms I had ever seen, and it’s on all our doorsteps.

It’s very enjoyable, though, and one day, I’d like to get other community members involved to help out.

Supporting Homeless Charities in Croydon

One of the things that scares the crap out of me in life would be to be homeless…

I cannot imagine how frightening it must be to have no place to stay, and no access to such basic amenities. Nowhere to be able to sleep safely, eat, and clean yourself.

So, in 2024, I started Community Cleanup UK, and I’m hoping it will allow me the insane luxury of donating truckloads of cash to the charities here in (Croydon) South London that feed and help rehome the homeless or those at risk of homelessness.

I’m cleaning up community spaces, filming them, and throwing them up on social media and YouTube.

The long-term goal is to monetise the community channels. I then want to give that cash to the homeless charities in South London.

So, if you would like to support this cause at no cost to yourself and, like me, want to provide professional help to those who have nothing, then you can very easily do so by any of the methods below.
